Version 1.5 features

Versión 1.5

After some testing our beta version is mature enough to be widely used. We have been working very hard the last few months to have available a number of significant improvements for the efficiency of our tool. Surely you notice the difference.

What’s new on this release:

1.- User attributes screen has been largely improved, allowing the administrators to easyly define custom attributes. This version supports text, numeric, date, email or user attributes as well as predefined list of values for each one.

2.- Synchronization connectors no longer need to be coded in Java. Customizable agents allow the administrator to easyly define how each attribute on the target system will be populated, and how a Soffid attribute will be populated based on a managed system one when needed.

3.- Administrator can create translation tables in order to translate external codes no internal ones, easeing data synchronization.

4.- Recover password addon is now integrated with ESSO and WSSO engines.

5.- A brand new report engine allows users and administators to create custom reports using iReport tool.

6.- Now, Soffid console is able to use external password systems, improving transition phase.

7.- Recover password module let administrator decide which recover methods to use: personal questions or email message. Now it can be used seamlessly from Soffid SelfService portal, our SAML identity provider, or our Windows Credential Provider.

8.- A new agent has been created to connect with any identity source based on SQL tables on Maria DB, My SQL, Postgresql, Oracle, SQL Server or Informix. An SCIM configurable agent has also been released.

9.- Authoritative data import is now incremental on systems supporting it.

10.- On privileged account management, this version allows Soffid to remotely manage any Windows host without any agent or software deployment. More and more, check-in and check-out process of privileged accounts has been improved.

11.- User accounts can now be created based on rules or based on operator request.

12.- Shared accounts differs three access levels: owners, managers and users. The latest will only be able to use them through ESSO rules

12.- Roles can be bound to a business unit. When the user is removed from this business units, any role bound to this business unit is also removed. Last certification information can also be reviewed from Information System form.

13.- Tested on Windows 10.
